Truth: Baby boomers spend more time online than they do watching TV. @ 19 hours per week, this also exceeds the time they spend reading newspapers or listening to the radio. The study found 71 percent of baby boomers use social media every day, and 59 percent of seniors did the same. Facebook was the most popular platform among these demographics. The primary reason for this adoption was to keep in touch with family members. This number will continue to grow. (Source: Ipsos and Google report)
